Is There a Canadian Tire Mastercard Promo Code?

There is no Canadian Tire Mastercard promo code, and no sign-up bonus running right now. The last one paid new cardholders $150 in CT Money, so my advice is to wait for the next one before you apply. Here is why, and which card to get when it's back.

Canadian Tire Promo Code? None right now. The last bonus paid $150 in CT Money, so wait for the next one. Triangle World Elite Mastercard

The whole post in one picture. The receipts are below.

Is there a promo code right now?

No. I checked Canadian Tire's own pages for both cards on October 28, 2026. Neither the Triangle Mastercard nor the Triangle World Elite Mastercard shows a sign-up bonus or a code.

Triangle Mastercard: 4% back in CT Money at Canadian Tire stores, no annual fee, no sign-up bonus

triangle.canadiantire.ca, October 28, 2026. The top of the page sells the 4% and the 5¢ a litre. No bonus, no code.

The last sign-up bonus paid $150

Canadian Tire's last sign-up bonus, as Rewards Canada reported it on April 24, 2026:

  • $150 in CT Money on either Triangle card.
  • Any purchase at a Canadian Tire group store within 30 days of approval. No minimum amount was stated.
  • Apply by May 21, 2026, through a special application link. Canadian Tire's main card pages didn't show it.

Rewards Canada first posted the same $150 offer in May 2024, so it has come back before. I didn't see this offer on Canadian Tire's own pages, so treat these terms as reported, not confirmed.

Should you wait? Yes

  • Nothing is running now. Canadian Tire's pages show no bonus and no code (October 28, 2026).
  • $150 is a lot for this card. On the World Elite, $800 a month of groceries earns about $24 a month, so the bonus is worth more than six months of rewards. On the regular card it's more than a year's worth.
  • It only comes with a new application. Apply today, and there's no bonus for you when it returns.
  • When to look: both $150 offers I know of ran in April and May.

Search results will keep showing old offers. Before you count on a bonus, check that the link goes to triangle.canadiantire.ca and that the end date hasn't passed.

The bonus CT Money you can still get

Canadian Tire runs short Triangle Rewards promotions instead. On October 21, the fine print on its card page listed single-use offers: $30 in bonus CT Money when you spend $150, and $50 when you spend $250. These aren't sign-up bonuses, and they come and go.

The math is worth a look. $50 on a $250 purchase is 20% back, five times the card's 4%. Before a big Canadian Tire run, open the Triangle app and load whatever offer it shows you.

Which Triangle card to get when the bonus is back

Both have no annual fee. The World Elite pays more on almost everything, if your income qualifies.

Triangle Mastercard Triangle World Elite
Groceries (first $12,000 a year) 1.5% 3%
Canadian Tire, Sport Chek, Mark's 4% 4%
Everything else 0.5% 1%
Income needed None $80,000 personal or $150,000 household

On $800 a month of groceries, that's $144 a year on the regular card and $288 on the World Elite. Costco and Walmart don't count as groceries on either card.

The World Elite also includes Canadian Tire's Roadside Assistance Gold Plan, about a $99.95 value. You can only apply for it online.

Triangle World Elite Mastercard: online applications only, $80,000 personal or $150,000 household income

triangle.canadiantire.ca, October 28, 2026. The small print under the headline: online applications only, and the income you need.

The catch: CT Money only spends at Canadian Tire

$288 in CT Money is only worth $288 if you spend it. It works at Canadian Tire, Sport Chek, Mark's, Atmosphere, Party City and Gas+. You can't cash it out.

That's about $24 a month. If you fill up at Gas+ or buy winter tires every few years, you'll use it. If you go to Canadian Tire twice a year, a grocery card that pays in cash is the better pick, even at a lower rate.

Pay it in full

These cards charge 21.99% interest. Carry a $1,000 balance for a year and you pay about $220, which wipes out most of the grocery money. Pay the full statement balance every month.

Skip cash advances too: they cost 3% of the amount (up to $10), plus 22.99% interest.
